2. Glengarry Marentette Community improvement plan
3. Sustainable Downtown Community Improvement Plan
4. Bellmio Physical Site visit Report
5. International Downtown Association Panel Report
6. Healthy People, Healthy places - Smart choices for Windsor-Essex County

3. International Downtown Association
4. Mainstreet.org
5. Gluespace.org
6. PPS.org (project for public spaces)
7.Detroit Eastern Market's plan to convert city space to agricultural and localize their economy

Recommendations by Group
1. Create a source to locate a master list of all these recommendations
2. Keep Gov't out as much as possible (with the exception of Community Improvement Plans)
3. Invite community organizations to sign up to the different recommendations to "own" and work on
4. Separate list to ones adopted by city politicians vs. ones that are more controversial and need work on
5. Hold city politicians accountable when they interfere with a groups attempt to implement a recommendation already adopted by council
6. Prevent politicians from conducting any more studies unless budget exists to implement recommendations
7. Get city council to allocate budget dollars towards
8. Have city designate and name officials responsible and accountable for getting progress on city controlled recommendations.

Mark and Adriano, I attended a Smart Community Action Team meeting on Wednesday and found out an information database at the portal called 'Working Together' at TOGETHER.WINDSOR-ESSEX.INFO which is a location on the Connecting Windsor-Essex Portal where all community plans can stored making them accessible to all.

Would you let me know if you are willing to submit the plans you have collected already and would be willing to submit any additional plans as they are loaded in here?

If you follow the link, the submission screen is right at the top of the page.

Here is the link for this location on the portal:

http://together.windsor-essex.info/

Here is the Description of this Resource:

This online resource was created to encourage organizations to communicate activities on an ongoing basis and establish synergies in the community for addressing key issues.

Submissions will be held in a one-stop-shop database that enhances the awareness of initiatives to the broader community in general and to external agencies. It is one-stop service for showcasing the impacts of the diverse activities underway to the general public, and provides:

Descriptions of key activities that are underway within the region

Up-to-date contact information for each activity or planning document

A repository of planning documents, reports or strategy frameworks

A searchable interface to query sources to help identify those that could be aligned to help reduce the duplication of effort

Built-in tracking mechanisms to assist in targeting best practices and success stories that can be showcased

On-line access to a report of activities that helps share knowledge proactively

Here are a list of the plans that have already been loaded in to the repository:
