How do we promote industries on rock formations and save our farmlands for farms?    Integrate : homes/businesses/low-impact industries/urban garden plots/health-care/transportation/schools . . . within every neighbourhood.(ala Jane Jacobs)    Separate farms from polluting industries...    (enviro-protection)                Fed/Prvl Gvts. must legislate Farmland Protection (something stronger than the "GreenBelt" Plan that is full of loopholes)                must develop a suitable compensation plan for farmland-owners to fairly reflect the financial benefits of property ownership            There are many skilled unemployed workers in Northern Ontario and lots of land too rocky to farm...Use it!
